AGILENT Empty Glass Columns
All Agilent empty glass columns are silane treated. Each column is packaged in individual boxes for easy and safe storage. Agilent has three standard configuration columns for the Agilent / HP 4890, 5880, 5890, 5987, 6890, 7820, 7890 GC’s. These are commonly known as configurations A, B, and C. Agilent also has newer “special” configuration columns. These are different from the standard configurations — The span, dimension B, is 9.5 inch instead of 9 inch. To determine which column configuration you require, you will need the following information:
What type of detector are you using?
What is the distance between the injector and detector (center to center)?
Do you need on-column injection or off-column injection?
